    Mercer University Hosts “New Year – New Beginnings” Breakfast for Community Leaders

    To demonstrate their commitment to serving the people and leadership in every community they offer programs, Mercer University recently held a “New Year – New Beginnings” Breakfast at their Henry County Regional Academic Center to discuss possibilities for Mercer to serve Henry County residents.  More than 30 community, business, and educational leaders were in attendance to provide feedback on Henry County’s educational goals and other needs.

    With over 600 students, the Mercer University Henry County Regional Academic Center has had a presence in Henry County since 2003. Their evening and weekend programs in Henry County have set the standard in providing high-quality degree programs that are responsive and sensitive to the needs of adult students.

    The 30,000-square-foot regional academic center in Henry County offers a range of bachelor’s degrees, including the bachelor of science in criminal justice, and two master’s degrees. While it is easily accessible from I-75, the center is set in a tranquil location overlooking a lake and golf course. It is conveniently located in McDonough on Henry Parkway, adjacent to the Henry County Administration Building.
