District 5 has a new representative on the Henry County Development Authority Board of Directors. Harrice Moore was sworn in by Judge Kelley Powell, Henry County Probate Court, as HCDA's newest board member at the authority's board meeting held on January 8, 2015. Mr. Moore will serve a 4 year term.
Mr. Moore is a retired U.S. Army logistics director and has a relatively diverse background including serving as Assistant Director, Business Services at Georgia State University and as a Realtor at Keller Williams Realty, Inc. His favorite quote is, " Now is the time. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow will be too late!"
When asked, following the swearing in ceremony, how he felt about his new tenure as a member of HDCA's Board of Directors, Mr. Moore shared, "I am extremely delighted and honored to serve the great citizens of Henry County and be on the 'Choose Henry Team.' Henry County is a great place to do business and call home!"
